Living it Up at the Key

The token that I found taped inside the Kobe bell at the Seattle Center. Bell is in the background on the left.

So Seattle Center ran a scavenger hunt on their twitter to celebrate the 50 Year Anniversary since the World’s Fair. I won the very first scavenger hunt they ran. But I only won because I sent my friend the clue and he answered back with the answer within 1 minute of when I sent it. So really, my only job was letting him know and looking for the token. He was the total brains behind the operation.

The prize was a box suite at the Key Arena for the Rat City Roller derby.  I split up the tickets so that half of the tickets went to the brains of the operation and I took the other half. We ended up with such a great mix of people and it was just tons of fun.

Everyone was just cracking me up. During the halftime show they wanted the audience to dance to the music, quite a few people in our suite joined in and shook their butts off. Big kudos to our suite for being loud enough to get the cheerleader’s attention so we could score a bunch of free chips. We were really working it to get him to come to us.
