This has been quite the month of winning contests for me, so I’m figuring that September is going to be a dry spell. Typically I win one thing per month. Never anything life changing, just piddly odd and end things. But since I’ve won 3 things the month of August, I feel like I’ve filled my quota for the next couple of months. The following is a list of what I’ve won this month.
- VIP tickets to Vampire Sucks – Primo seats dead center and no waiting in line. The movie was ‘okay’. I don’t know if I would of necessarily of paid to see it. There was a good laugh here and there. The crowd seemed pretty into it, but mostly consisted of teenie boppers and fans of the Twilight series.
- Margaret Cho tickets – Friend and I were dieing to see Margaret Cho, but didn’t really have the money to spend on tickets. So lucky for us I won some tickets off of Yelp. Great seats, amazing show, all new material, it was an absolutely fabulous time. Being surrounded by so much GGC (Gorgeous Gay C_ _ _) was kind of hard though. Considering that 75% of the audience was Gay, 11% Fag Hags, 7% Lesbians, 7% Straight, there was tons of unavailable eye candy. Unavailable for straight women. So put me on a spit roast, because Koreans really do like BBQ (joke from the show).
- Piranha Prize Pack – Alas, I really want to see this movie. No screening and there are no free tickets in the prize pack. So I’m going to be forced to actually pay money to see it. Actually I have some free Regal tickets I could use, but those are my last resort tickets. I had to play a flash game and shoot piranhas. I posted high score, but it seems pretty odd that right after I posted 3 other people posted same EXACT score as me. I should be getting the pack in the mail soon. I think it has a beach ball, poster and tattoos in it. How exciting!
